it's finally summer outside.
i know this because our car doesn't have air conditioning,
and it is finally hot enough outside that driving is miserable.
this winter was so long that i actually had forgotten that our car's a/c didn't work.
darn it.
somewhere between packing our house,
making renovation plans for our new one,
studying for the bar,
and taking care of three kids,
we are finding time to celebrate and enjoy summer.
after all, it's only here for such a short while.
i'm going to be honest.
a lot of our celebrating involves ice cream.
okay.
pretty much the only way we've celebrated is eating ice cream.
lots and lots of ice cream.
not that maggie is complaining.
maybe one day we'll find the time to go to the beach, or barbecue, or go to the splash pad or pool.
but until then, there is always time for ice cream.
