Tennyson has started making happy noises. He loves his play mat lately. Last night when we would put him in his crib, he would coo and laugh at his mobile for a few minutes before finally falling asleep. Mike and I just laughed while we listened to him.
Today we introduced him to his toy Mortimer the Moose. I think he likes it.
Last weekend my grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary so the whole family came into town and we spent the entire weekend at my aunt’s house celebrating!
Everyone loved spending time with Tennyson and he ate pretty much the whole weekend… he is such a show off!
On Saturday morning everyone got into teams and we played games from the TV show Minute to Win It. Even Tennyson played!
Mike dominated the game where you had to move an Oreo from your forehead to your mouth only using your face muscles. He got all three into his mouth before anyone else even got one. I don’t want to know how he was so good at this…

We also had a magician come. He was great with the kids and pretty entertaining for the adults as well. He made some balloon animals for all the kids and he made a flower for my grandma and a clown hat for my grandpa.
On Saturday night my grandparents were picked up in a limo and we all had dinner at Goodwood Barbeque. Mike and I got a family meal to split with my cousin Kiel and his wife Emily. Everyone at the table was jealous that they didn’t think of doing it because we got the most food out of everyone. We are just smart like that.
It was great having the whole family together again for a weekend!

This is Tennyson’s first friend Emma. This is also the first play date that they have actually been awake for.

We have the cutest kid ever. Now if he’d only learn that sleep is a good thing… we’d have the perfect child.
We took Tennyson to meet his first celebrity today. David Archuleta made an appearance at our local Deseret Book so we stopped by. Tennyson was so excited to meet such a big star that he slept the whole time! These are the pictures we got. We weren’t going to wait in the huge mob/line to get any better ones.
