It was very hot on Memorial Day. I don’t know how it happened. One day it is cold outside, the next day there are tornado sirens going off, and then BAM! It’s 90 degrees outside.
We used the good weather and the day off as a good excuse to take Tennyson on his first zoo trip ever.
We lathered our ginger up with sunscreen. We stayed hydrated.
And we spent the day walking around the zoo….

There really is something to be said of childhood curiosity.
