Family

We spent two weeks in Utah at the beginning of the month. We decided we needed to see family, and we had no clue when we'd have the chance again to be able to leave for a solid two weeks.

We drove. It was a long drive. It was a long visit. For that reason, I'm going to break it up into bits and pieces.

Family.

me and my maggie with my cousin whitney and her little boy ethan. he's about a month and half younger than maggie. (ignore my closed eyes.)
my cousins. they loved maggie and wanted to be with her ever waking minute. they said friday the 13th was the worst day ever because it was the day we had to take maggie away. she loved them, too.

another of my cousins. she bought her and maggie matching dresses. we provided them with matching bows. and i daresay, they look adorable together.

maggie with my grandma.

and with my grandpa.

visiting my great-aunt ester in the nursing home. she had no clue who we were, but she sure loved watching tennyson and maggie. (sorry the picture is a bit blurry.)

after dinner with the reads. mike met them on his mission. we might not be blood relatives, but they are family.

tennyson playing with my cousin's boy. it was nice for him to be able to play with boys.

maggie and my uncle, aunt, and cousins.

maggie and my cousins. she loved holding their fingers.

out to lunch with my grandma barbara.
We also saw Mike's brother a lot, but somehow, he didn't make it into many pictures. Mike and his brothers have a special way of hiding from the camera. A trait they inherited from their dad. It was wonderful seeing so much family. That was, after all, why we visited.

More on our trip to come in the upcoming days.
